ReVisualize Radar
RADAR VISION
- ProteusCore™ uses machine learning to classify RADAR returns
- Proteus filters out 90% of RADAR returns to show you what really matters
- All objects in the RADAR’s view - boats, markers, debris - are tracked by Proteus
- Proteus can predict an object's location 20 seconds into the future
• Understanding the information presented by your RADAR on the multi-function display can be a challenge. Even experienced boaters know how difficult proper interpretation of RADAR information can be. RADAR is critical in helping you understand what is around you and avoid impacts with other boats or objects in the water.
• PROTEUS leverages your RADAR to deliver unparalleled insight into your surroundings. As your Partner in Navigation, PROTEUS turns what used to be an amorphous fuzzball on your RADAR into a photorealistic icon on your MFD. Enabling you to take the appropriate action behind the wheel.
• By implementing Machine Learning to identify and classify raw RADAR returns, PROTEUS can turn what used to be an amorphous fuzzball on your RADAR into a photorealistic icon on your MFD.
• See objects that previously appeared as blobs or fuzz on your RADAR screen as real objects on the PROTEUS Vision 3D display. Existing RADAR displays do not make it easy to tell the difference between a boat and a channel marker at a glance.
REVISUALIZE RADAR AND Be Empowered by your Nav Tools
AVoid running aground
Active Maps
Collaborative Subsurface re-mapping
- Proteus uses NOAA survey data as the baseline
- As boaters encounters areas where the survey data is inaccurate, the Proteus display is updated with the correct depth
- Once you return to shore, Proteus sends this new depth data to the Cloud so other boaters can benefit from your voyage
prevent collisions
Classic 2D
Classic overhead view, enhanced by proteus
- Uses RADAR Vision to display other boats Predicted Path
- Markers and buoys are easier to see and understand than on a traditional char plotter
- Visualize your depth thresholds with yellow, orange, and red lines that show you where you might have a risk of running aground
